Who we are

Bon Couillon! (roughly “good idiot” in Cajun French) is the passion project of Drew Stephan, who came to love Cajun food after moving to South Louisiana in 2007. Enamored by big flavors, deep culinary history, and rich cultural intersections, he began exploring the ways in which food, music, art, and storytelling formed and strengthened community in the bayous, prairies, and towns of Cajun country.

Bon Couillon started as an excuse to make Cajun food, which is meant to be shared and savored in community. Drew moved to Western Massachusetts in 2022, and has continued Bon Couillon up north, as a way to bring people together for a little taste of South Louisiana.
